Dr. Jeanne Lee has recently joined the Division of Trauma/Surgical Critical Care/Burns as a permanent member of the elite trauma faculty team soon after her completion of the Surgical Critical Care fellowship at the same division. Dr. Lee received her medical degree in June 1997 from University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Cincinnati, OH. She went on and spent a year Internship as a General Surgery Preliminary at the University Hospital/University of Cincinnati. Dr. Lee later served her residency tour at Henry Ford Hospital as General Surgery Preliminary in Detroit, Michigan where she took on another assignment as a research fellow at the Children Hospital of Detroit. For the next 2 years Dr. Lee continued to pursue her Postdoctoral Basic Research Trauma Fellowship at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle before accepting the Surgical Critical Care Fellowship at the UCSD Medical Center where she is now part of the best Trauma System in the nation. Dr. Lee's recent performance suggests that her clinical skills, dedication, research and most of all her passion have greatly contributed to the recovery of our critically injured patients. Her wealth of experience serves our patients well.
